The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) is conducting an Alternatives Analysis to address transportation needs in a study area that includes major destinations and activity centers in Hillsborough County. The Alternatives Analysis, or AA, is a planning study to identify and evaluate alternative transit modes and potential alignments. Based on a comprehensive assessment of costs, benefits, and impacts, the study will develop recommendations for the specific alternative that best meets the needs of the community. Subsequently, the HART Board and other local agencies will select the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA). Depending on what alternative is chosen, the LPA may be a candidate for federal funding through various programs.

More information on the study findings will be posted on the website soon.  Please check back later
